Weβre on Tech in Asia π
Today, FlagoDna was featured on Tech in Asia as part of their Startup Spotlight series.
But before I share the link, let me tell you the real story β because it didnβt start with a startup idea. It started with my mom.
It Started With a Simple Request
She needed a clean, ad-free Hijri calendar widget. I built one for her.
That single app β Hijri Today β revealed something much bigger. Millions of Muslims were relying on digital tools that exploited their faith for profit. Apps designed to maximize screen time, harvest user data, and serve targeted ads β all wrapped in Islamic branding.
Then in 2020, I read that a popular Islamic app had sold user data to military contractors.
That was the moment everything became clear.
What Is FlagoDna?
